I have been crocheting for about 30 years now. 20 years ago, I was introduced to amigurumi and I was "hooked". No more doilies or afghans for me. It's all about creating silly. We need things in our life that remind us to slow down and find the fun in everyday. I hope my creatures can help you do that.
